By accessing and using StashCanvas, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

StashCanvas is a canvas-based AI workflow tool that allows you to create, organise, and automate workflows using AI models. The service supports local AI processing via Ollama and external AI providers through your own API keys.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your API keys and credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your use of the service complies with applicable laws
• Respecting the rights of others and the policies of AI providers

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use StashCanvas to:

• Generate harmful content: Including but not limited to violence, hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes self-harm
• Engage in illegal activities: Any use that violates local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Create malware or security exploits: Generating malicious software, exploits, hacking tools, or content designed to compromise security
• Generate misinformation: Creating false or misleading content at scale intended to deceive or manipulate
• Commit copyright infringement: Mass-producing copyrighted material without authorisation
• Harass or threaten individuals: Using AI to intimidate, stalk, or make threats against specific persons
• Spam or abuse: Automated generation of abusive content, spam, or repetitive harassment
• Bypass safety controls: Attempting to circumvent, disable, or manipulate AI safety systems or content filters
• Impersonate others: Creating content that falsely represents you as another person or organisation

External AI Provider Policies

When using external AI providers (such as OpenRouter, OpenAI, or other services), you agree to comply with their respective Acceptable Use Policies. These providers maintain their own terms and may restrict certain types of content generation. You are responsible for understanding and adhering to these policies.

For local Ollama models, you are solely responsible for ensuring your usage complies with applicable laws and responsible AI practices.

Data and Privacy

StashCanvas processes data locally on your machine or through AI providers using your own API keys. We do not store your AI conversations, documents, or workflow data on our servers unless you explicitly sign up for cloud services. Your use of external AI providers is governed by their privacy policies, not ours.

Disclaimer of Warranties

StashCanvas is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StashCanvas, its developers, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to StashCanvas at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms & Conditions or suspected abuse of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Your continued use of StashCanvas after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
